A company in Los Angeles is looking for a Senior Manager of Infrastructure. This person will be responsible for managing a team of 13 engineers, consisting of DevOps, Storage, Systems and Automation Engineers. Day to day responsibilities include :
Spearheading the team's DevOps strategy : automation efforts, CI / CD pipeline builds and management
Project planning : Determining step-by-step directions, scheduling, and coordination for infrastructure outages, upgrades, and migrations
Handling technical escalations
Managing responses to ticket queue
Processing POs
Working with vendors and internal teams for project execution
Participate in quarterly planning to determine technical roadmap and operational needs

Required Skills & Experience
10 years of infrastructure / systems / DevOps engineering experience
5 years of experience working in a management capacity (leading technical strategy)
Extensive knowledge of DevOps concepts : heavy automation, building and managing CI / CD pipelines, containerization (Kubernetes)
Experience with public cloud (AWS, Azure, OCI, or a mix) and virtual environments (VMware)
Strong Linux background
Strong scripting experience (Python, PowerShell)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Extensive knowledge of storage solutions, a plus (Pure, Dell Isilon, Nimble, etc.)
