Title : Sr. Technical Manager - Software Development
Location : Buffalo Grove, IL or Dallas, TX
Duration : 6 month C2H
Pay : $65-$70 / hr (Salaried after 6 months)
Must Haves :
10 years of IT experience including development and management experience
5 years of experience leading large or multiple application teams to deliver projects and initiatives effectively
5 years of technology development (Design, Coding and Testing) experience in Cloud / Web / Legacy technology.
Strong with Java, Angular, multiple databases and Azure
Experience with stakeholder management
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Day to Day :
Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Manager to join a large client in Buffalo Grove or Dallas to oversee a technical team of 8-15 developers.
- You will manage assigned functional areas through detailed planning of projects, resources and skillset mapping.
- You will provide technology guidance to the resources, planned according to the functional and technical skillset required for the project delivery.
- You will successfully deliver all projects and programs without compromising quality, budget, scope and schedule.
- You will meet scheduled milestones to ensure projects / programs objectives are met in a timely manner.
- You should have a deep understanding, follow and provide guidance to project teams and resources on principles, practices and techniques followed within the application area and organization.
- You will contribute to IT project planning for one or more business areas; review progress toward plan regularly with clients and make modifications, as necessary; provide quantitative cost / benefit analysis; ensure team is following work, documentation, certification, and audit requirements, as needed
Salary : $65 - $70
