Responsibilities:
A client of Insight Global is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to play a critical role in their DoD business. The ideal candidate must have the minimum experience of working with U.F.C. building codes, a strong understanding of mechanical design for Federal buildings, and be proficient in Revit. This person will be responsible for creating detailed Revit models of mechanical systems in accordance with UFC codes (plumbing can also be included based on experience). This engineer will also create construction documents, perform calculations, select equipment and layout, collaborate with teams throughout the QA/QC process, develop flow diagrams, and provide Lifecycle Cost Analysis on projects.
This person will have hybrid schedule determined by their proximity to one of the above locations. The travel requirement is usually around 10%.
Compensation:
$100,000 to $170,000 per year annual salary.
