Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing piping diagrams and designs in 3D and 2D AutoCAD, as well as developing specs for piping systems ensuring compliance with NAVSEA regulations. This will involve working closely with Senior 3D Checkers to ensure drawings meet Navy specifications and are approved for the build process.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Applicants must have a strong background in the maritime shipbuilding industry, with at least 10 years of experience in piping design on ships. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and MS Excel is essential, as is experience with ShipConstructor or Navis software. An associate degree in an engineering concentration is also required.
