What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Process Engineer position at Insight Global?
A partner of Insight Global is looking to add a Senior Process Engineer to their team. The Senior Process Engineer provides process engineering, project engineering and maintenance support to the Manufacturing Facility. Develop and establish maintenance/engineering tools/programs to ensure that the facility is kept in a good state of repairs as well as all process equipment are cGMP compliant from a facility, maintenance and engineering perspective. Direct, evaluate and assist capital engineering and process improvement projects. Facilitate requisitions or equipment and parts. Serve as equipment/facility expert and interface with regulatory agencies on audits etc. Must have the ability to apply engineering theory, practices and principles to determine root cause of equipment failures and to perform equipment performance evaluations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Biochemical or Chemical Engineering
- 5 years experience as a Process Engineer/Project Engineer
- Experience in a cGMP, Pharmaceutical/Biological manufacturing environment
- Experience mentoring and training junior engineers
- Experience with MS Project, AutoCad and maintenance planning software
- Proven track record of developing project schedules and performance requirements
- Familiarity with the Stage Gate Process for project management
- Exceptional analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written skills
- High degree of professionalism; ability to deal sensitively with confidential information
Compensation: $110,000 to $120,000 per year annual salary. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education
