JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Utilities Engineer to join one of our large municipal clients. The Senior Utilities Engineer performs responsible, professional work leading and overseeing the planning, design, and inspection of engineering projects related to municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater utility systems. Work is performed under the limited supervision of and reports to the Deputy Director of Utilities. - Field work is minimal and consist of driving to pump stations or walking a project with a consulting engineer - Works as technical lead for water and wastewater operations as SME - Will work with consultants on replacement programs in water sewer Will have 3 direct reports, civil engineer, construction inspector, contract manager
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
· Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering and 4 years of professional engineering (need 4 for PE) ○ 4 years could be in design, civil, construction, ect… · 2-4 years of experience in wastewater and sewer EIT or PE (must be able to obtain PE withing 12 months of hire if not)
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
· GIS mapping, GPS, AutoCAD, ESRI ArcGIS, Pond Pack, Microsoft Office and/or other technologies needed to manage projects Previous experience in supervisory role
Compensation:
100,000-120,000
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
