Skincare Formulation Chemist

Insight Global is seeking 2 experienced Skincare Formulation Chemist to join a dynamic team at a leading Manufacturing Organization in the Phoenix, AZ area. The ideal candidate will have experience in the cosmetics or skincare industry, with a strong background in formulation. This role requires a deep understanding of key active ingredients, raw materials, product development, product efficacy/performance, and regulatory compliance, along with the ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively with customers and internal teams. This will be a contract-to-hire or direct placement opportunity and pay range is very flexible based on years of experience!

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in skincare formulation within the cosmetics industry, preferably at a CDMO.
• Strong knowledge of key active ingredients (e.g., retinoids, peptides, hyaluronic acid, antioxidants), raw materials, emulsions, surfactants, preservatives, and other cosmetic ingredients.
