Must Haves:
3 years of experience in software automation testing with C# and Visual Studio for web (Selenium) and mobile (Appium)
2 years of experience using ReadyAPI for automation
Comfortable with object-oriented programming and third-party libraries i.e. newtonsoft for json
Knowledge of software development life cycle and quality assurance methodologies
Demonstrated experience performing manual and automated application testing
Experience in participating in projects and ability to work with minimal supervision
Plusses:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Financial industry experience
Experience with mobile and IVR testing
Understanding of structured application development methodologies and principles
Understanding of structured environments using distinct development, test and production environments
Day-to-day:
Insight Global is seeking a full-time, remote Software Developer Engineer in Test to join a financial client’s growing automation team of 3. This person will support their online and mobile banking application using Selenium and Appium to automate testing. They must be comfortable working in an established framework and be able to code from scratch in C#. Currently, they run 1500 tests daily and are looking to expand their automation footprint over the next year. Responsibilities would include:
Review requirements, specifications, and user documentation to appropriately maintain existing automated test scripts
Manage analysis of daily test suite execution for all covered applications
Maintains automated testing database and ensures the use of quality data
Reports test outcomes by collecting, analyzing, interpreting, summarizing, and displaying data for daily executions
Translates existing manual regression test scripts in collaboration with the QA manual test team
Develops automated test scripts for various software application products
Collaborates with various Enterprise Solutions teams to understand big-picture ideas and identify solutions
Use data and analytics to improve our products and member experience
Participate in requirement sessions and the defect lifecycle where appropriate
Salary : $35 - $50
