What are the responsibilities and job description for the Software Testing Analyst (Hybrid) position at Insight Global?
Insight Global is seeking a Software Testing Analyst to join a Veterinary Diagnostics company located in the greater Portland, ME area. This role will join a team responsible for an on-prem application that has been around for over 20 years. This individual will join three other Software Testers but will specifically be tasked with also testing the hardware component of the application. Because of this, we are looking for someone with experience in Hardware and Software Testing. The hardware testing experience should be on a Windows O/S application portfolio. A qualified candidate will have general networking knowledge (VPN, router, exp) as well as manual software testing. They will plan and write test cases / scripts, and perform smoke, application, functional and regression testing, including appropriate level of testing to ensure that systems or applications are tested effectively prior to implementation. This is a hybrid role, required to be on site 2 days per week.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 2 years of manual software testing experience
- Experience on Windows O/S application portfolio
- Familiarity with hardware-related competencies (networking, serial communication, communication protocols, etc)
- Extremely good communication with ability to work in absence of information
Plusses:
- Familiarity with Automation Testing and Cypress
Salary : $40 - $50
