What are the responsibilities and job description for the Solutions Architect position at Insight Global?
An aerospace company in the Cincinnati, OH area is seeking a Technical Project Manager / Solutions Architect the join the Enterprise Architect organization. This group, known for classified military projects, is expanding its business with more complex and larger application, such as SAP implementation. This role offers significant opportunities for growth and requires someone who can bring people together and drive projects to completion. This individual will focus on driving definition of requirements and design through facilitation of process adherence and coordination of resources to define solution to later be built and executed within the portfolio of work. Additional responsibilities include :
- Work on the execution side of strategy, putting together requirements and determining how changes will impact the environment.
- Drive deliverables for a dozen or more software requests, focusing on engineering applications.
- Interface with multiple team including data architects, the infrastructure team, and business relationship managers across various solution verticals.
- Contributes to the creation and maintenance of a process and repository for the documentation and storage of enterprise and solution architecture artifacts, including conceptual and logical architectures
- Assist in enabling an SDLC placemat & framework that ensures that projects and support activities are accomplished per guidelines.
- Develop and provide business friendly EA overview across all functional areas to educate and ensure adoption of standard and process as well as encourage solution re-use.
