Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing entity.
- Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in ERP accounting software, Oracle EBS a plus.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
- CPA preferred but no required.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, reconciliations, accruals, and payroll.
- Ensures accurate and timely monthly closes of monthly US GAAP reporting.
- Prepares and reviews account reconciliations on monthly basis, ensuring understanding of the activity in balance sheet account and documentation used to support the balance.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and schedules to support internal decision-making and external reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits, providing documentation and explanations as needed.
- Prepare and analyze inventory reconciliations ensuring accurate reporting.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the finance department and implement appropriate solutions.
- Work closely with colleagues across departments to support financial objectives and initiatives.
Compensation:
$70,000 to $100,000 per year annual salary
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
