Senior Piping Design Engineer
We are currently searching for a Senior Piping Design Engineer to join our team supporting a large shipbuilding client with the U. S Navy.
About the Role
- Design piping diagrams and designs in 3D and 2D AutoCad
- Design specs of piping systems and ensure they are NAVSEA compliant in Navis, ShipConstructor, and AutoCad
- Collaborate with Senior 3D Checker to ensure drawings meet Navy Specs and are approved for the build process
Requirements
- Background in maritime shipbuilding industry
- Experience designing piping systems as a prime on a Navy contract
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and MS Excel
- Associate degree in an Engineering concentration
- 10 years of experience with piping design on ships
Software Requirements
- ShipConstructor or Navis software experience
- AutoCAD 2D and 3D piping designing
