Day to Day:
Insight Global is seeking a Staff Accountant for a Mental Health Provider. This is a contract to full time hire position with excellent hybrid remote flexibility for an individual local to either Jacksonville. You will work in a small team environment under the supervision of the Accounting Manager to provide full cycle accounting support including the full GL, reconciliations, and monthly close process.
Must Have
- 3-5 years experience in a staff accountant role ($75mm - $500mm revenue businesses preferred)
- Previous accounting experience in healthcare, retail, or staffing industries highly preferred
- Proficient in managing full cycle accounting for the full balance sheet (account reconciliations, cash reconciliations, prepaid/fixed/accrued assets, payroll reconciliations, etc)
- Experience with consolidating financial statements, related intercompany accounts and eliminations.
- Proactive self-starter with the ability to learn and adapt to changes quickly
- Fast data entry skills and high attention to detail
- Proficient with accounting software (e.g., Sage, NetSuite)
- Bachelors’ Degree preferred
Nice to Have
- Experience in public accounting servicing mid size businesses in the healthcare, retail, or staffing sectors
- Experience working within a healthcare provider organization
Salary : $34 - $40
