Position: Tax Analyst

Pay Rate: $31/hr

Location: Jacksonville, FL 32246

Duration: 12 month contract, perm possible

Schedule: Hybrid, Wed-Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm

Required Skills & Experience:

- Bachelor’s Degree - 1 years within banking or finance function - Exposure to tax documentation - Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPS) - Ability to work a hybrid schedule (Wednesday-Friday)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

- Tax documentation experience

Job Description:

A large institutional bank is looking for a Tax Analyst to join their organization. This person will be joining the Tax Operations division for Global Banking and Markets. This team specifically responsible for Tax Documentation for the banks institutional clients. This person will be a part of the team processing documentation for their clients and working with various internal teams to ensure client retention and success. Their responsibilities will include 3 main processes—Annual Tax Refresh, CIC and Undocumented Clients. They will be balancing all 3 responsibilities weekly to ensure their clients have the proper tax documentation on file and will not have incorrect withholdings. They will be working with internal business partners and external clients to complete this task. The ideal candidate will come in with exposure to tax documentation or banking and will have an eager personality to learn and grow within the team. Responsibilities Include: - Annual Tax Refresh: The individual will be ensuring the clients tax documents are updated every 3 years and not reaching the point of expiration. - Change in Circumstances: This is a situation where a client of the bank has a change in circumstances that causes withholdings in their account and this individual will research and resolve the issue. - Undocumented Clients: This happens when a client has had a dormant account, but decides to activate the account again, so this team will be notified and required to take immediate action to retrieve the proper documentation.
