TAX Consultant

A client of Insight Global is seeking a high-level Aduit / Tax Consultant to serve and expand our multi-state state tax practice working with clients and our channel partners. Applicants need a broad-based exposure to state income tax, sales / use tax, and Washington state excise tax matters, including tax compliance.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (MST or CPA preferred) or JD / LL. M. with high proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
• At least five years of full-time SALT experience;
• Experience working for or against the WA State Department of Revenue;
• Broad-based experience in multi-state income, excise and sales / use, Washington excise taxes, and local taxes;
• Experience managing client engagements from start to finish, including managing staff;
• Ability to confidently and effectively communicate with clients and state / local tax authorities;
• Excellent research, analytical, and data skills;
