What are the responsibilities and job description for the TECHNICAL ARTIST V position at Insight Global?
Insight Global is looking for a Technical Artist to join one of the world's leading technology companies. This will be part of the Reality Labs organization which brings people around the world together through next generation Augmented, Mixed, and Virtual Reality. A Technical Artist is responsible for the technical aspects of art asset development. This entails working closely with Art and Engineering to develop and support the asset pipeline, animation and rigging tools, animation rigs, and real-time effects.
Job Responsibilities :
- Partner closely with the engineering and technical art teams in defining and developing content
- Optimize content through enhancing performance and instructing the artists and designers on asset creation, modeling and texturing best practices
- Manage the technical animation pipeline including rigging and animation, and hooking up animations
- Develop broad technical expertise to assist in a wide variety technical and artistic tasks
- Quickly solve issues with cross-functional leads
- Thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environment
Pay rate : $70 / hr
