What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Documentation Specialist position at Insight Global?
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing technical documentation in eXtensable Markup Language (XML) using Arbortext Editor authoring software to publish PDFs. They will also be responsible for tagging XML documents for the Army IADS Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM) viewer or equivalent Electronic Technical Manual (ETM) and Interactive Electronic Technical Publication (IETP). This candidate should have strong communication skills which enable them to explain complicated concepts in a simple manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree and 8 or more years of prior relevant experience
- Army IADS experience
- Understanding of MIL-STD-2361, MIL-STD-40051, and MIL-STD-HDBK-1222
- Proficient with XML (Structured Documents)
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
COMPENSATION
- $88k to $105k
- Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
