Technician

Compensation:

$25/hr to $26/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Must-Haves:

• Cable installation
• HS or equivalent diploma
• 1 year of experience in any of the following or similar technical or vocational roles
• Infrastructure Cabling, Network Deployment, Data Center Operations, Technical Project Management Preferred qualifications
• Fiber optic troubleshooting
• Network Protocols
• Background in networking, fiber cabling, data centers, telecom

Plusses:

Data center experience Industry standard certifications (CompTIA, CCENT, Network ,) Knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment Experience with common tools related to network troubleshooting, including VFLs, OTDR and power meters Understanding of infrastructure technologies, including Routers, Switches, Load Balancers and Firewalls
