Required Skills and Experience:
- 3 years of technical training experience

- Proven experience with adult learning principles, methodologies, and course design techniques
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including instructional and presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on motivational skills and positive attitude
- Ability to work competently and independently in course development and delivery concepts, as well as identifying software issues
- Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
- Ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly

Job Description:
The role of Technology Trainer is to organize and provide live training and user support to the Firm as well as author and update training materials for supported applications and Firm-specific implementations. Each Technology Trainer should take an active part in keeping their skills current and contributing to ongoing learning initiatives both within Technology and the Firm. In addition, a Technology Trainer should apply his/her communications skills to interact regularly with team members and serve both as a communications facilitator between the various departments and a technology mentor for all users. Duties include the below:
- Delivering classroom and online training sessions to support on-boarding and continuing education needs, to further global training initiatives, and to enhance user support;
- Performing training needs analysis for local training requests and following up with local managers as needed;
- Regularly authoring or revising training outlines in support of local training sessions;
- Offering regular office floor walks for supporting technology-related topics, addressing the latest support issues, or following up a visit request made by the Technology Training Liaison or another Technology manager;
- Developing training materials (quick cards, interactive learning modules) for new Firm implementations or upgrades to existing tool sets;
- Regularly contributing to the Firm Intranet and Learning Management System by adding or updating training events, resources, and tech tips;
- Drafting training outlines to supplement train-the-trainer sessions for new curricula;
- Ensuring that the training environment (classroom or online) is conducive to effective learning (room setup, preparation of exercises and examples, feedback mechanisms);
- Following Web conferencing best practices (established by Technology Training) when conducting online sessions;
- Testing and proofreading the work of colleagues;
- Covering Service Desk How Tos, escalated incidents, and respond to requests on an ad hoc basis;
- Remaining flexible with duties and shift hours to cover training needs at special times or when other Technology trainers require backup;
- Recording daily time spent on training and administrative activities in Intapp;
- Performing additional tasks when required by Technology Management to directly support Technology goals and mission statements;
- An annual performance evaluation will be carried out by your Manager. Objectives will be set and reviewed during the course of the year to ensure that you have shown initiative to complete your goals.
Salary : $40 - $45
