What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transportation Engineer position at Insight Global?
Insight Global is seeking a Transportation/Roadway Engineer to join our client with offices in Virginia Beach, Vienna, and Richmond, Virginia. Responsibility in this role is primarily centered around designing roadways, sidewalks and pedestrian trails and crossings. This role offers ample variety in types and sizes, providing strong opportunities for growth and professional development. With the variety in the day to day, it requires someone who can change tasks fluidly and take initiative in the tasks assigned. The primary software's utilized are MicroStation and OpenRoads. Work is hybrid with 3 days onsite and 2 remote.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Licensed or soon-to-be licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
* 6-12 years of experience in Transportation Engineering
* Strong communicator with leadership ability and/or potential
* MicroStation experience
* Willingness to learn OpenRoads (ORD)
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* OpenRoads Experience
* GEOPAK Experience
* Prior leadership/mentorship experience
Salary : $106,200 - $158,800
