About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Wind Turbine Technician to join our team in Maljamar, NM. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our wind turbines.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor status of wind generation equipment operation
- Respond to alarms and correct abnormal conditions
- Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical, and computer problems
- Develop procedures and schedules for inspections and maintenance activities
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- 1 year of experience in a related field
- Ability to climb turbine towers daily (up to 280 ft)
- Physical stamina to work in various weather conditions
Working Conditions:
- Work outside in all types of weather conditions
- May be required to work under hazardous conditions
- Requires wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
