Job Requirements
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hydro Outage Technical Specialist to join our team.
This role will involve managing project outage work at both pumped storage and traditional hydro generation facilities.
The successful candidate will have strong technical knowledge and experience working with contractors and managing contracts.
Key Requirements:
- 5 years experience in planning, operations and/or maintenance at a power generation or similar facility
- General knowledge of construction practices and standards
- Effective oral, written, and graphical communication skills, including technical writing
- Ability to identify and use appropriate technical literature
- Ability to function effectively independently and as a member of a technical team
- Organization and project management skills
- Experience with basic office software Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Ability to manage contracts and contractors
- Technical knowledge and demonstrated skills to perform detailed inspections
