Job Description
This Utility Specialist role will serve as a member of a crew within a section of the Department of Utilities. The position is responsible for being a dependable and supportive member of their team by assisting the county's water distribution system and meeting overall Utilities Department goals.
Required Skills and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of experience in any trade field (plumbing, HVAC, building mechanical maintenance, auto mechanic, water sewer or storm water, utilities, etc.)
- Comfortable with overtime
- Valid driver's license
- Willing to pass a drug test, driving record check, and background check
Nice to Have Skills
- Direct utilities experience
Compensation:
$20/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
