What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vascular Nurse (RN) position at Insight Global?
A large hospital system is looking for a Vascular Registered Nurse to join their main hospital in Pennington, NJ. This role will consist of bringing in the patients, doing assessments, wound care, post-op and pre-op appointments with the Nurse Practitioner or Physician. Additionally, they will be calling back patients/ following up on messages for medication refills, post-op appointments.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm (no weekends, holidays or on-call)
Qualifications:
- RN License in NJ or Compact License
- Minimum 6 months experience in Vascular, Wound Care, ER, or Float Nurse
Additional Responsibilities below:
-Delivers quality care to patients through a team effort in working with others through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation
-Assures patient safety by executing appropriate policies & procedures
-Provides appropriate support for pain management, pharmacological and non-pharmacological measures
-Assist patient/family in identifying individualized comfort measures
-Follows up on internal resources to determine the outcome of interventions completed by other departments
-Mobilizes resources in complex cases to maximize patients control and participation over his/her own recovery
-Provides information and interpretation of the patient's condition and offers coping mechanisms
-Assesses how much information a patient wants and needs while utilizing a vocabulary and approach that enables the patient to successfully process the care and course of treatment

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
