Vision Application Engineer

Position: Vision Application Engineer

Duration: Long-term contract with opportunity for direct hire

Location: Warren MI (up to 50% travel to plant locations)

Pay Rate: $35-60/hr per diem on days not in Warren

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Must Haves:

• 1 year of experience integrating or applying any 3D vison system
• Bachelors degree in engineering or related experience

Day to Day: Insight Global is looking for a technical vision application engineer based out of Warren. This person will be responsible for integrating 3D vision systems to the clients quality system with the goal of increasing quality inspection efficiency and accuracy. They will specifically be working on surface quality vision and ensuring the new 3D vision system is able to communicate to the current quality system in the manufacturing plant. This person is expected to have experience integrating 3D vision systems to other systems.
