Must Haves
-Minimum of 7 years of experience warehouse environment
-5 years of leadership minimum
-Experience managing 9-12 direct reports
-WMS experience (Acccellos preferred but not required)
-HAS to pass a federal background check
-Works well under pressure, articulate, self-thinker, suggest changes
Plus:
-3PL logistics background- HIGHLY preferred
-Bilingual- HIGHLY Preferred
-FTZ facilities (foreign trade zone) experience
Day to Day:
Insight Global is looking to hire a Warehouse Manager for our leading 3rd party logistics company in Edison, NJ. Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for all shipping and receiving
- Ensure that all work is distributed equally between staff for efficiency
- Review workload to ensure proper staffing
- Perform accurate physical inventory when required
- Ensure that all warehouse supplies are available to complete warehouse daily task
- Open and close (alarm) warehouse on a daily basis
- Yard and warehouse clean
- Inventory freight consolidation
- Ensure new warehouse staff is properly trained including temporary laborers
- Communicate effectively with upper Management any issues/concerns
- Responsible for reporting employee errors/deficiencies to management
- Ensure employees comply and are up to date with Warehousing Training Program
- Present positive atmosphere for all employees
- Conduct weekly cycle counts on random clients
- Report equipment failures to Facility Manager (forklifts, dock doors, levelers etc..)
- Maintain daily records of pre-trip inspections for all machinery
$25/hr to $35/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of

role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the

Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
