What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Inspector position at Insight Manufacturing S?
Job Summary:
Read blue prints and schematics, verify production travelers for completeness, inspect, test, sort, sample, or weigh raw materials or processed, machined, fabricated, or assembled parts or products for defects, wear, and/or deviations from specifications. May use precision measurements and complex testing equipment.

- Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products, and recommend necessary corrective action.
- Inspect, test, or measure materials, products, installations, and work for conformance to specifications.
- Notify supervisors and other personnel of productions problems, and assist in identifying and correcting problems.
- Perform tests and evaluations for “First Article”, in process, and final inventory.
- Discard or reject products, materials and equipment not meeting specifications.
- Record inspection or test data and complete required records.
