Full-time Caregiver (Mon-Fri ONLY)

This position works 9:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday ONLY.  No holidays or weekend work required and the center is closed and you're paid for the workday when Fairfax Co Public Schools closes due to snow! You will not find this schedule and opportunity with any other employers! 

Preferred 1-2 years of experience working with individuals with dementia; must have effective communication skills. Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner.

Must hold current Certified Nursing Assistant(CNA) license in the Commonwealth of Virginia. 

Preferred Registered Medication Aide(RMA) licenses in the Commonwealth of Virginia is but not required.

Insight Memory Care Center is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit whose mission is to provide specialized care, support and education for individuals with Alzheimer's disease and other memory impairments, their families, caregivers, and the community through our adult day health and resource center. Serving Northern Virginia since 1984, IMCC offers a spectrum of holistic care, education and support, with a vision of a community where those affected by memory impairments can achieve the highest quality of life. IMCC also provides a safe and therapeutic environment for people in all stages of dementia. A vital part of IMCC is providing a well-rounded therapeutic recreation program that meets the physical, cognitive and social needs of each participant.
