Description
The 3rd Shift Recovery Support Specialist (RSS) is an overnight, awake position that provides direct support and observation to clients from 12am-8am.
- Remain awake and alert during entire shift (12a-8a)
- Conduct Rounds every 30 minutes - visually confirming location and well-being of all clients and documenting in our EMR system
- Responsible for the observation, reporting and management of clients
- Assisting the interdisciplinary team with client care
- Completing progress notes for assigned shift using EMR system
- Provide safety and security of the houses by doing hourly rounds
- Support Clients in maintaining healthy sleep schedules
- Complete incident reports as necessary
- Participate in staff meetings as needed
- Assist in cleaning and organizing of community spaces nightly
- Maintains and adheres to all policy and procedures respecting confidentiality of client’s rights, anonymity, communication either written or verbal regarding client’s identity and situation
- Maintain appropriate boundaries and ethical behavior with clients, families and other professionals
- Communicate rights and expectations for behavior to clients in a consistent and respectful manner
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalency required
- 1 year experience in human services field preferred
- CPR/FA certification (agency will be provided if needed)
- NCI Certification (agency will provide training if needed)
Competencies
- Knowledge of HIPAA Law
- Ability to multi-task
- Knowledge of 12 step programs a plus
Job Type: Part-Time/As Needed work toward Full-time
Pay: From $17.70 per hour

- Weekends as needed
