We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Director of Case Management (RN) to lead and oversee a comprehensive Case Management department at a respected acute care hospital in the foothills of North Carolina.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee case management, care coordination, and clinical resource management operations.
- Lead utilization review planning to align with patient needs, appropriate care levels, and Geometric Length of Stay (GLOS) standards.
- Develop and implement department goals, policies, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and quality.
- Manage hiring, training, and performance evaluations for case management and social work staff.
- Monitor and control departmental budgets while ensuring compliance with funding and regulatory requirements.
- Foster a culture of professional development and continuous improvement.
- Maintain excellence in regulatory reporting, internal audits, and patient advocacy.
Qualifications
- Current RN license in North Carolina (or compact state)
- Minimum of 3 years of management/leadership experience required
- Must have 3 years of Case Management experience in a hospital setting
