We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Head of Sales, Marketing, and Business Development to lead our efforts in achieving ambitious revenue goals, entering new markets, and forging strategic partnerships.
Position Summary : The Head of Sales, Marketing, and Business Development will be responsible for driving alignment between the sales and marketing teams, overseeing strategic growth initiatives, and identifying new revenue streams. This role requires a visionary leader who can balance data-driven decision-making with creative strategies to drive results. The ideal candidate will focus on achieving $6M in annual revenue, ensuring profitability, and exploring opportunities for national expansion, B2B sales, and government partnerships.
Key Responsibilities :
Sales Leadership :
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve and exceed annual revenue targets, with a stretch goal of $7M.
Align the sales team with marketing efforts to optimize lead generation, conversion rates, and customer retention.
Build and manage a high-performing sales team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
Establish clear sales goals, quotas, and KPIs for the team, and provide regular feedback and coaching.
Marketing Alignment :
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement campaigns that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement.
Ensure consistency in messaging, branding, and positioning across all sales and marketing channels.
Utilize data analytics to measure marketing ROI and its impact on sales performance.
Business Development :
Identify and pursue new market opportunities to expand the company’s footprint, particularly in untapped regions.
Develop B2B sales strategies and build relationships with corporate partners, healthcare providers, and insurance companies.
Establish and manage partnerships with government agencies, large institutions, and other potential collaborators.
Lead efforts to diversify revenue streams by exploring innovative service offerings and strategic collaborations.
National Expansion :
Drive strategic initiatives to support the company’s national expansion goals, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
Research and evaluate new markets to prioritize entry strategies and growth opportunities.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding of new clients and successful service delivery.
Recruitment Leadership :
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure robust recruitment strategies for therapists to meet client demand.
Develop and implement recruitment campaigns aligned with marketing efforts to attract top therapist talent.
Monitor and optimize recruitment pipelines to support business growth and client satisfaction.
Financial Accountability :
Implement a 50 / 50 / 25 compensation plan tied to company revenue and profitability :
50% base salary.
50% performance-based bonuses tied to achieving quarterly and annual revenue goals.
25% additional bonus for revenue exceeding $6M, with no cap on earnings.
Monitor and manage sales and marketing budgets to ensure alignment with company objectives.
Requirements
Required :
Proven track record of success in sales, marketing, and business development leadership roles, preferably within the healthcare or telehealth industry.
7 years of experience managing sales teams and aligning sales and marketing functions.
Strong knowledge of B2C and B2B sales strategies, including government and institutional partnerships.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute growth strategies in new markets.
Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze and act on key performance metrics.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Familiarity with recruitment strategies to support therapist acquisition and meet client demand.
Experience rapidly scaling a company in the $2-$10 million range.
Preferred :
Experience with national expansion efforts in a healthcare setting.
Familiarity with SaaS or hybrid business models.
Background in forging government partnerships or working with large institutions.
Advanced degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
