About The Role
The Manager, Go-To-Market (GTM) Enablement is a pivotal role within the GTM team to managing the function responsible for developing and implementing training programs to enable sales teams to effectively bring products or services to market. Along the way, you will get to:
- Collaborate with sales leaders and cross-functional teams to identify training needs and develop strategies.
- Design, develop, and deliver training programs to enhance sales skills, product knowledge, and market readiness.
- Assess sales performance gaps and customize training solutions to address specific needs.
- Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make continuous improvements.
- Provide coaching and support to sales representatives to drive performance improvement.
- Manage relationships with external training vendors and resources as needed.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in sales training and enablement.
- Lead and manage a team of training specialists to ensure training objectives are met.
- Partner with business unit leaders to assess training needs, review business situations, and recommend solutions to address performance gaps.
- Communicate costs, benefits, and value of solutions, manage implementation, troubleshoot as needed, and evaluate project ROI.
- Design and deliver training programs, provide coaching and consulting, and demonstrate team management skills.
- Conduct interviews, document reviews, and observations to establish major accomplishments of any job.
- Ability to manage a team effectively..
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 5-7 years of training and development-related experience.
- 5 or more years of professional consulting experience with a large professional services company or large corporation providing learning and training solutions to internal or external clients.
- Knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design methodology, and learning evaluation methodologies.
- Strong project management skills, including overseeing multiple training initiatives.
- Ability to communicate effectively, collaborate with diverse teams, and work with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in developing, implementing, and executing L&D initiatives supporting key business strategies.
- Strong coaching skills, effective time and resource management, and ability to manage difficult situations.
