Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Animator to join May 3rd Films. In this role, you will be responsible for bringing our concepts to life through motion graphics, 2D / 3D animation, and character animation. You will work closely with our creative team to create compelling visual content that will engage and inspire our audiences.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts and storyboards for animation projects.
Create high-quality 2D / 3D animation and motion graphics that align with the project's vision and brand.
Design and animate characters, backgrounds, and props for use in animation projects.
Work with a variety of software and tools such as After Effects, Maya, and Adobe Creative Suite to produce high-quality animations.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver them on time and within budget.
Participate in creative meetings and provide recommendations for enhancing and improving animation techniques.
Stay current with industry trends and techniques to continually improve the quality of our animation work.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior animators and interns.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Animation, Film, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in animation, preferably in a studio or agency setting.

Strong portfolio showcasing your animation skills, including 2D / 3D animation, character animation, and motion graphics.

Proficient in software and tools such as After Effects, Maya, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Excellent understanding of animation principles, storytelling, and composition.

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Passion for storytelling and a keen eye for detail.

Experience with live-action and visual effects is a plus.
