Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Animator to join May 3rd Films. In this role, you will be responsible for bringing our concepts to life through motion graphics, 2D/3D animation, and character animation. You will work closely with our creative team to create compelling visual content that will engage and inspire our audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts and storyboards for animation projects
• Create high-quality 2D/3D animation and motion graphics that align with the project's vision and brand
• Design and animate characters, backgrounds, and props for use in animation projects
• Work with a variety of software and tools such as After Effects, Maya, and Adobe Creative Suite to produce high-quality animations
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver them on time and within budget
• Participate in creative meetings and provide recommendations for enhancing and improving animation techniques
• Stay current with industry trends and techniques to continually improve the quality of our animation work
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior animators and interns
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Animation, Film, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in animation, preferably in a studio or agency setting
• Strong portfolio showcasing your animation skills, including 2D/3D animation, character animation, and motion graphics
• Proficient in software and tools such as After Effects, Maya, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Excellent understanding of animation principles, storytelling, and composition
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for storytelling and a keen eye for detail
• Experience with live-action and visual effects is a plus
