Job Summary
ED RN for small ED in North Kohala, Hawaii. 12 hour shifts, Days and /or nights depending on the needs including weekends and holidays. Must have strong EPIC experience.
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate will provide quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating clinical expertise and compassion.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial patient assessments and triage in emergency situations
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, communicating changes to the healthcare team
- Perform diagnostic evaluations and assist in emergency procedures
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Qualifications
- Current RN license with experience in an Emergency Room setting
- Proficiency in Botulinum toxin treatment, dialysis, and ostomy care is preferred
- Knowledge of internal medicine and case management practices
- Familiarity with workers' compensation law and travel nursing protocols
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $67.09 - $69.43 per hour
