Overview
General Job duties. Types of procedures required.
- Flex Rn Floats between various medical and surgical units
- Shift or schedule requirements.
- 12-hour shifts - Night (1845 to 0715) - Scheduled 36 hours per week following first week of orientation. No guarantee of hours.
Equipment utilized in the unit/dept.
- Meditech EMR; pyxis; wound vac; chest tubes.
- Required skills and minimum years of experience.
- 2-10 years’ experience
- Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required.
- BLS, ACLS (Preferred: PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, ENPC)
Floating to other units/departments.
- Medical Unit; Laulima Unit; Cardiovascular Unit (on rare occasions)
- Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.
- Medical - 77; Laulima (surgical Acute) - 18; Cardiovascular Unit - 15
Nurse to patient ratio of this unit.
- Medical 1:6 for days and eves, 1:8 for nights
- Laulima 1:6
- Cardiovascular 1:4
- Ratio may vary due to unexpected leaves
- Dress Code.
- Professional nursing attire - clean scrubs

- Orientation time provided for each unattachment is advantageous

Pay: $55.16 - $58.00 per hour
