Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care to patients in progressive care units
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, collaborating with healthcare professionals as needed
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and post-discharge care
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with protocols
Skills
- Proficiency in Cerner or similar electronic health record systems
- Knowledge of workers' compensation law related to healthcare practices
- Experience in geriatrics or senior care
- Familiarity with sterile processing techniques
- Strong patient care skills in critical care or emergency medicine settings
- Ability to lift and assist patients as needed
- Understanding of botulinum toxin treatment for specific patient populations
