Job Summary
As an X-ray Technician at our medical facility, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your expertise in medical imaging to assist in patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging examinations on patients using X-ray equipment
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of images produced
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to determine the best course of action based on imaging results
- Maintain patient records and confidentiality of information
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment following safety protocols
- Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques
Skills
- Proficiency in X-ray imaging techniques and equipment operation
- Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
- Experience working in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center is preferred
- Familiarity with Sonography, Nuclear medicine, CT scans, and Diagnostic radiology
- Ability to work efficiently in emergency medicine settings such as the ER
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in producing diagnostic images
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $70.83 - $72.91 per hour
