Overview
- CA – RN - Med/Surg
- 7am - 7:30pm. 36 hrs./week guaranteed.
- Active CA license, BLS and ACLS required.
Proof of negative TB screen within 12 months of contract starting date.
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Medical/Surgical unit
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions and report changes to the healthcare team
- Assist in surgical procedures and post-operative care
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and management
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
Skills
- Proficient in sterile processing techniques
- Experience with eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems
- Competent in specimen collection processing
- Familiarity with neonatal ventilator systems
- Knowledge of health coaching principles
- Ability to assist in operating room (OR) procedures
- Proficiency in airway management techniques
- Skill in catheterization and catheter care
