Job Summary
Labor and Delivery RN for E/N shift. 7:00 pm - 7:30 am. Must have current NPR certified. No call.
COVID-19 Vaccine medical and religious exemptions will be reviewed on an individual basis. With an approved accommodation travelers will be required to follow the current CH masking protocol.
As a Labor and Delivery Nurse at our hospital, you will play a crucial role in providing care and support to expectant mothers and their newborns during the labor and delivery process.
Responsibilities
- Conducting assessments on mothers and babies during the labor process
- Monitoring fetal heart rates and other vital signs
- Assisting with pain management techniques
- Administering medications as needed
- Providing emotional support to patients and families
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure safe deliveries
- Educating new mothers on postpartum care
Requirements
- Experience in venipuncture and aseptic technique
- Previous work in a Level I Trauma Center or urgent care setting is beneficial
- Ability to perform triage effectively
- Knowledge of infant care practices
- Familiarity with occupational health standards
- Experience in memory care or MDS documentation is a plus
- Valid nursing license and certification in labor and delivery nursing
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $78.41 - $80.51 per hour
