Position Overview
The HR Coordinator will be a vital part of our team, assisting in recruitment, maintaining HR records, ensuring compliance, and supporting employee onboarding and offboarding. This role is perfect for an organized, proactive professional with a passion for HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support full-cycle recruitment: post job openings, screen candidates, and schedule interviews.
- Conduct pre-employment verifications, including background and reference checks.
- Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) to manage candidate pipelines.
- Ensure accurate and secure maintenance of HR records.
- Assist in HR audits and compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Support benefits administration, payroll coordination, and HRIS data entry.
- Facilitate new hire onboarding, including offer letters, documentation collection, and orientation coordination.
- Conduct new employee orientation on company policies, culture, and expectations.
- Assist with ongoing training initiatives for employee development.
- Manage offboarding, including exit interviews, system access revocation, and final paperwork.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-3 years of experience in HR coordination, recruitment, or administrative HR functions.
- Knowledge of HR policies, employment laws, and best practices.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms (preferred).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification (preferred but not required).
