They are seeking an experienced Audit Supervisor to strengthen their audit practice.
As an Audit Supervisor, you will oversee multiple audit engagements simultaneously while managing a team of seniors and staff. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality deliverables, developing client relationships, and supporting partners in business development efforts.
- Supervise multiple engagement teams across various industries
- Oversee all phases of audit engagements from planning to completion
- Review audit work performed by seniors and staff for technical accuracy
- Manage budgets, timelines, and resources across engagements
- Resolve complex accounting and auditing issues with minimal partner involvement
- Prepare and review financial statements and comprehensive audit reports
- Develop and coach senior and staff auditors
- Maintain strong client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor
- Identify and communicate value-added recommendations to clients
- Assist with proposal development and other practice growth initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required, Master's degree preferred
- 5-7 years of public accounting experience with progressive audit responsibilities
- Active CPA license
- Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and industry-specific regulations
- Experience managing and mentoring professional staff
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple engagements
- Advanced proficiency with audit software and data analytics tools
