As a Senior Auditor, you will lead audit engagements, supervise staff, and serve as a key point of contact for clients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Plan and execute audit engagements for clients across various industries
- Supervise, mentor, and develop audit staff and associates
- Prepare and review financial statements and audit reports
- Identify and communicate accounting and auditing issues to management
- Maintain client relationships and respond to inquiries
- Ensure compliance with professional standards, firm policies, and regulatory requirements
- Participate in business development activities and proposal preparation
- Collaborate with tax and advisory teams to provide comprehensive client services
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA certification required
- 3 years of public accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, and relevant regulatory requirements
- Experience with audit software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Superior written and verbal communication abilities
- Proven leadership and project management capabilities
- Experience with clients in manufacturing, healthcare, non-profit, or financial services
- Knowledge of industry-specific accounting standards
- Advanced degree (MSA, MBA) or additional certifications (CIA, CISA)
