They are seeking a Tax Preparer to join their office in New York.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Preparing Individual, Corporation, Partnership, Trust & Estate returns
- Preparing & maintaining workpapers with proper documentation
- Completing tax closings
- Preparing tax projections
- Reconciling e-file diagnostics to complete the transfer process
Qualifications:
- Must have a Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Accounting or Taxation (120 credits required, 150 credits preferred) at the time of applying
- Familiar with CCH, Prosystem Fx, Engagement, XCM a plus
- Should be a proficient user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Applications
- Minimum of two years of recent and relevant public accounting experience in Tax in the US.
- Must be able to work Saturdays or Sundays during the busy seasons
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills is ideal
