The Role
We are seeking a Configuration Management Analyst to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify document and product documentation cross-references and completeness
- Compile and coordinate release packages
- Review change requests for accuracy and completeness
- Establish change orders and prepare change authorization
- Coordinate modification records for management control and monitoring of change requests
- Compile status accounting reports and participate in configuration review boards
- Verify work product release authorizations
- Review product definitions for standards compliance, document findings, and coordinate corrective action
- Monitor change and release implementation and escalate identified risks
- Monitor implementation of configuration management plans
- Coordinate configuration standards based on plan requirements
Requirements
- 6-9 years related experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Prior experience in Drawing Configuration Management, Large Dataset Control, and/or other related Fabrication experience required
Competencies
- Knowledge of drawing/data systems and configuration management principles and processes
- Knowledge of company document management guidelines
- Understanding of technical considerations applicable to the integration of hardware, software, and human elements
- Knowledge of specification format requirements, guidelines, and change control processes
- Knowledge of infrastructure architecture for storage and retrieval of documents
