Responsibilities:
- Assisting Shop Mechanic as needed.
- Perform diagnostic tests on trucks, and other vehicles. Repair, maintain, and perform routine inspections of vehicles.
- Daily preventative maintenance of vehicles including but not limited to check fluids, grease fittings, check tires, and hoses.
- Writing up warranty repair orders and documenting routine maintenance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous mechanic experience.
- Proficient in the use of online systems and computer software.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to listen and comprehend instructions accurately.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, including whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Motivated self-starter with a proven ability to take initiative, and drive results.
