Job Description:We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Home Inspector to join our team. As a Home Inspector, you will play a crucial role in evaluating residential properties and providing comprehensive inspection reports to our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough inspections of residential properties, including single-family homes, condos, and multi-unit buildings.
  • Evaluating the structural and mechanical systems of homes, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and more.
  • Identifying potential issues, defects, safety hazards, and maintenance needs.
  • Utilizing advanced tools and equipment to ensure accurate and precise assessments.
  • Generating clear, concise, and detailed inspection reports for clients.
  • Communicating findings and recommendations to clients in a professional and understandable manner.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and addressing client questions or concerns.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Valid home inspector license/certification in Texas.
  • Previous experience as a home inspector preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of residential construction, systems, and components.
  • Excellent attention to detail and observational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient computer skills for generating reports.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Commitment to maintaining professional standards and ethics.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential properties to assess their condition and identify any potential issues or defects
- Collect and document data related to the property's structure, systems, and components
- Utilize knowledge of construction management principles to evaluate the quality of workmanship and adherence to building codes and regulations
- Review contracts, blueprints, and schematics to understand the specifications and requirements of the property
- Prepare detailed inspection reports outlining findings, recommendations, and any necessary repairs or improvements

Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to observe and analyze various aspects of a property
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to clients
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics to understand construction plans
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Previous experience in construction management or a related field is preferred but not required

Pay: $50,000.00 - $82,770.00 per year
