JOB SUMMARY :

The candidate will be responsible for maintaining equipment across a portfolio, supporting maintenance and repair on Sprinkler systems, Fire Alarm systems, Hood Suppression systems, Smoke Control systems, Fire Extinguishers, and ancillary fire systems such as Beam Detectors and VESDA systems. The candidate will act as a subject matter expert for the Fire and Life Safety team and actively mentor team members.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Demonstrated mastery with Siemens and / or Simplex Fire Alarm Panels.
• SME for troubleshooting and maintaining two or more Fire Systems elements including : Sprinkler systems, Fire Alarm systems, Hood Suppression systems, Smoke Control systems, Electronic Fire Extinguisher Monitoring systems, Beam Detectors, and VESDA systems.
• Ability to work on low voltage electrical systems.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with minimum infractions on MVR.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES :

QUALIFICATIONS :

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :

High school diploma / GED, OSHA 10, Basic electrical system safety, and a minimum of 5 years fire system / troubleshooting experience.

CERTIFICATES AND / OR LICENSES :

Possession of or ability to acquire NICET Certification. Licensing for Journeyman should be WA state EL06 or equivalent.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS :

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to customers.
