As an HR Generalist, you will oversee all human resources functions, including managing bimonthly payroll calculations and transmissions for over 225 employees. You will leverage your accounting background to ensure accuracy and compliance in payroll processing and HR operations. Your responsibilities will include handling employee relations, administering benefits, and implementing policies. This role is ideal for someone who transitioned from accounting to HR and thrives in a detail-oriented, dynamic environment.
To succeed, you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field preferred. 3 years of HR experience, including employee onboarding, recruitment, and payroll processing.
- Proficiency in payroll calculations, HRIS systems, and compliance with employment laws; experience with PEOs is a plus.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is preferred.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Your responsibilities as an HR Generalist will include:
- Manage the entire employee lifecycle, including onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes.
- Oversee bimonthly payroll calculations and ensure timely and accurate transmission.
- Assist with recruitment efforts, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating the hiring process.
- Maintain and update employee records to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, addressing concerns and supporting a positive work environment.
