Senior Accountant - AKDHC Administration
The Senior Accountant applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities may include:
- Prepares journal entries and performs financial statement analysis
- Assists with Medical Research accounting functions
- Maintains Fixed Assets
- Prepares Business Personal Property Tax Returns
- Works with Patient and Insurance Refunds
- Assists with accounts payable
- Positively represents the financial department with all internal customer services
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent from an accredited college or university
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with internal & external customer’s concerning results, variances, problems and solutions
- Ability to interact and build supportive and positive relationships with multiple departments and personalities
- Ability to execute assigned duties in a timely and professional manner
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Excel
- Eagerness to learn and grow
